  • Microsoft Fingerprint reader. Bought it at 2008. At 2009 Windows 7 released. There is a lot of WOW,COOL,FAST!

Fingerprint Reader products will not run on Windows 7.

While on Linux, since entusiasts (not Microsoft!) did drivers i can use it in new generations without any problem. Bravo microsoft! Assholes.

  • I have Sony Vaio ultra-portable. It was shipped with XP. Vista was somehow was working, but most of devices doesn't work. Win 7 i am not able to install at all. XP is not supported anymore, Sony no interested anymore to release updates for EOL product for new OS, so lifetime of hardware product is artificially limited. But thanks i have Linux and i can continue to use it with fresh software.
